Not sure if you meant history of or men who participated. White, Virgil Index to Volunteer Soldiers 1815-1858 This is a HUGE volume and listed every man's name , the state and the unit he served in -- but nothing else. There are also some Pension books which list the man's name and the # of his pension. I keep trying to get more on-line for this war. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/military/indian.htm Rosters Stories and history http://www.rootsweb.com/~gataylor/crkindw.htm Their military and pension records are available from the National Archives. And the more of these we get on-line the more that others will be helped by seeing what they contain. Did you have an ancestor who fought in the Indian Wars --- there were several and in fact the War of 1812 in western Ga was against the Indians. War of 1812 pensions have lots of genealogical information -- especially if a widow is involved.
