    3. Someone contacted me with information from an old Normal School Program Can anyone help me figure out what this State Normal School later became? (1924) In Texas, the Normal School trained Teachers, and evolved into Teachers Colleges and later Universities. I wondered if this were also true in this case. Does anyone know about Pound Auditorium? I've asked her to type up the names of those participating. State Normal Sc(hool) These parts are missing. 3. Eleanor I have my mother's School annual from State Normal School in Athens if you want me to look any one up for you. My Mom was the class president in 1925 I think it was. When she was in her 80's I went with her to a class reunion..... had a great time with the old ladies... quite a nice group of people. Just wanted to share that with you and offer to look up anything in the books I have. 3. Charles, Thank you very much for the offer, I will keep that in mind. I bet you had a wonderful time going to the reunion with your mother. Did many of them remember each other? That was the biggest surprise that I got when I went back for some of my reunions...I think the largest shock was the 5th one...most of us had changed so much...it is amazing what a few pounds will do to a person...after that we have recognized each other when we see someone. Back in May, I had open heart surgery. After I came home after being in the hospital and rehab for a couple of months and was feeling good again. I went to the store and saw a former student....I noticed that she kept looking at me and so concerned...well, she was concerned, she is such a sweet girl...but I didn't realize that my hair looked so differently...I had not used any rinse and a few more gray hairs were showing than usual...some of those medicines that they use, help to speed that along, also. I assured her that I was all right. Thank you again for offering the information.
