    3. Let me clarify. I've looked at the counties on the genweb, but Appling, for example, (my target county at the moment) only says it was formed in 1814, from Indian Lands . My question is if this was Indian Land when it was formed, what counties in the "southern" part of the state were considered "Georgia" prior to that?
