For those of you who didn't know about the book. The Historical Society is trying to publish a pictorial history of Pike Co. I don't have a list of families included yet. We are still gathering photos. There are many wonderful ones that have been sent in and I can't wait for you all to see them. We have two or three of baptisms in the river from various churches in the communtiy from the turn of the last century.. Also several have been sent in of classes at the schools . Some of those date back to the 1920's. I am particularly proud of the ones that have been sent in of the veterans of various wars. Many families have dug deep and sent those of their ancestors and some of older buildings in the county. All in all we have a wide selection--but we would love to have even more. Please send your photos in. E-mail them if you like--but save to files of at least 300 dpi.
