    3. 1. Has Fayette Co always been Fayette county or has the name been changed ?? 2.. Looking for family of William (poss Jim) Burdette and Nancy Caroline Burdett/e from Fayette County both were born in SC between 1879-1830. Poss around Abbeville Sc. the family moved to Fayette Co some time before 1880. Children are Henry b sc Sally (sarah) b sc John b abt 1849 Sc Andrew b abt 1853 Sc Georgia Anna b 7-17-1858 Sc d 12-16-1944 in Cullman Co Alabama. Felix Zachariah b 10-19-1863 SC d 5-6-1943 lawrence Co Tn. they were in Fayette County in 1878 Georgia married John J Johnson on 10-03-1878in Fayette co. also the same day a Sallie Burdett/e Married M.L. Johnson may have been siblings.. John J Johnson was born 1-3-1850 in Cobb Co . If any one has any info or suggestions to help me find either the Johnson or Burdett/e i would appreciate it !!!!!! dd
