I was very saddened to learn yesterday of the death of Ken Johnson on Friday, November 17, 2006. Ken was the county file manager for the following counties: Baldwin Coweta** Chattooga Columbia Decatur Elbert** Greene Gwinnett Hancock** Morgan Oglethorpe** Putnam** Walton** Wilkes** State File Manager, Virginia Crilley, has taken over the counties Ken handled and is working very diligently to fix any links on those pages to her name and e-mail address until new managers can be found for those counties. She also plans to do a memorial page. Notice of Ken's passing has been posted to the ** counties above. If you are sub'd to one of the lists that is not marked with ** please help us to pass this information on. Carolyn, his wife, was always active with the archives as well, although she stayed in the background. Please help me pass the word around to those who may have known them. I know she would be grateful to hear from any of you via the Funeral Home Guest Book.
