They had 10 KNOWN children: Isaac, Matthew, Candis, Harriet, Betsy, Delilah, Patsy, Willis, JOHN, JR, and Mary Hinton. The above child Isaac Hinton married Lucy Matilda (Hinton) and they had a daughter Lydia Hinton to marry Col. William Hinton who died 3 Oct 1847 in Greene Co., AL and buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. I am trying to see if the above John Hinton Jr could be OUR John Hinton who died in Tuscaloosa in 1843. I will appreciate any info you can find on John Hinton Sr & wife Charlotte (Carter) Hinton. I have been told that the above John Hinton, Jr was the one who married in Tuscaloosa Co., AL to Esther (MONTGOMERY), but they had NO source for their info. Lorene
