BROOM in Dooley County , GA?. She was born 1835, and died Aft. 1880 in Decatur County Georgia. Notes for FRANCES E. BROOM: Frances E. Broom first married Needham Powell. He died as a young man. They had three children. Frank died about the time his father did. They were both gone by 1860. There was Needham and Jethro, called Jete. Frances then married James E. Martin, my great grandfather. They had two children, William Garrison and Jimmie Laura. James was dead by the 1880 cencus. Frances was head of house with all of the children at home with her. She died very soon after 1880.
