I have a Sarah Catherine Cox b 1829 in NC. She first married William Abner Kilabrew and then William Raeford Taylor. She is my great grandmother. I think from the census that her mother was Nancy and siblings were Perry, Elizabeth and Samuel. Could one of these by your gg grandfather? Laurie, thank you for your response. I do not know of any female Cox's ~ only my GGGrandfather, John W. Cox, b. appx. 1828, Georgia. He married Almarinda Susan Johnson, August, 1847, possibly Georgia (although, I can not find record of their marriage.) There were Johnson's living in Georgia during the 1850's.
