Lynn, Are you talking about the Joseph MONTGOMERY who was born about 1824 in Georgia? ABSALOM PURNEL MONTGOMERY, his brother, is my line. Absalom Purnel was born abt. 1816 in Pike County, GA and died aft. 1880. Do you have their parents as DAVID MONTGOMERY and SARAH TRUITT? Sarah was the daughter of PURNEL TRUITT and 'POLLY' GOOLEY. Her father was in the Revolutionary War. Don't have my notes here in front of me at the present time, but wanted to get back with you as soon as possible. I would love to share information with you, since not so many people are working on this line.
