No. Are you sure your ancestor didn't have one of these as his middle name? I have found ancestors who had middle names who either never used their first name or who appear in some records with the first and middle names switched. If either of these is the case, it can be even more confusing when both the first name and the middle name start with the same letter. I know this because it's the case with one of my ancestors.
