An ancestor cousin of mine has a family name written on the foot of her headstone. My ancestor is Magdalene (PARKER-maiden) She married many times: Barlow Rice Smith Chapman. At the foot of her headstone is written "Misty Star Sappeloke". Magdalene PARKER was born: October 29, 1926 Grady Co., GA. died: January 13, 1997 Atlanta, Ga. I was told that her brother Clarence FILED CLAIM #50510 USING EASTERN CREEK NUMBER 11245 (MARY SAPP ) I have no idea what claim nor with whom for what...ect... Her father was William Walter PARKER born December 12, 1872 Jackson Co., Fl. died May 21, 1953 Grady Co, Ga. s/o Robert Samuel PARKER and Mary Barrow (SAPP?). I am told that other family members also have the name Sappeloke at the foot of their headstones as well. Does anyone know of this family? Why the name on the headstones? Does anyone know of the town/ territory in Alabama called Fish Pond? Sappeloke is on the 1832 census in Fish Pond. Female. There's no other information. Anyone have any ideas?
