Also, in the back there are a couple of listings of indentures to a settlement called the Browne Settlement. People from Whitby, Orkney, Caithness. They were indentured to a Jonas Brown and Company of Whitby and came over on the Marlborough with ship's master Thomas Walker. Some of these names are Bews, Spence, Johnston, Wildridge, Turnbull, Irvine, Corrigel/Corregal, Petrie, Brass, Mowat, Heddle, Craigie, Harvey, Hamigar, Halero, Guthrie, Brough, Linay, Traill, Loullet, Horrie/Horry, Alexander, Fenton, Cook, Oliver, Holmes, Blake, Dryden Elliott, Heaton, Barry, Miller, Robertson, Smith, Garson, Calder, Bain, Manson, Sinclair, Brock, Sutherland, McBeath, Grant, Ahait, Bair/Bain, Murray, Moor, Bremner, Sunson, Mackey, Horn, Reach, Pait or Tait (?), Isbisler, Tullock, Brook, Barrigel, Forth, Allen, Mellord, Bland, Armstead, Charles, Buttle, Morton. Many of these were from Scotland from what I can gather.
