Good Morning, I need some assistance....I have an obituary dated 1923 for a family member, in the obit it mentions that Awtry & Lowndes in Atlanta handled the arrangements, I have googled til Im blind and cannot find any address for where they might have been back then. I know they were still around in the 50's as there was a lawsuit against them. I am hoping someone might know where they were located so I can find out if there is a home operating at that location now. I've had no luck in the couple that I have called, and the McClain & Lowndes in Tucker say they were never affiliated. Does anyone remember this funeral home? Shannon -- Do you love genealogy?
