JOHN HINTON-(b.joco,NC-circa-1790-1843)*, His future BRIDE-----["ESTER (MONTGOMERY")- b.GA-circa-1797-1870"], & extended families of -*MONTGOMERY/ BROWN/ CLEMENTS/ ERWIN/ FOSTER/HARDY/ HARGROVE*, amongst others migrated-(circa-1820<<)-- from "Unknown county, GEORGIA" to the TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA" areas!!!-----------------------REV.JOHN & ESTER's--Parents are to date Unknown!! GA.History tells that all the Pioneers came into GEORGIA, via the "AUGUSTA/ WILKES" areas, but our' problem has been "Which of the at least- three or four HINTON FAMILIES, who came to GEORGIA was he from"???? We have Verified thru Credible "NC-SOURCES" that he was-of-- the family of *COL. JOHN & GRIZZELLA (KIMBROUGH)-HINTON*- of "CHOWAN/ JOCO/RALIEGH, NC FAME", but by which of their several sons??? What we have thus far; (1)- REV.JOHN HINTON was born in "JOCO/WAKE/RALIEGH, NC". (2)- ESTER (MONTGOMERY)-HINTON most agree was born in GEORGIA-[Unknown County]. (3)- Her Brother- CHARLES MONTGOMERY---married (before-1820- in GEORGIA) ---MARY POLLY (BROWN)-MONTGOMERY-[both thought to be born in GA about-1800]?? (4)- Parents of -MARY POLLY (BROWN)-MONTGOMERY were --- JOHN ERWIN BROWN-(b.NC-circa-1760-1770) & ELIZABETH (????) We have placed some of these families together at one time or another- in the following counties; AUGUSTA and "COLUMBIA County proper", WILKES, ELBERT, OGLETHORPE, and ATHENS/CLARKE County areas-(before-1810)! We have also seen these families in "FRANKLIN/ JACKSON Counties"-(circa-1800-20)! Who were Parents/ GR-Parents of your' *JOB HINTON*??? Any Intel would be greatly appreciated.
