Just a thought - have you tried the Alabama Vital Records office<http://www.adph.org/vitalrecords/Default.asp?id=1559>? I know they *should* have the same thing as the county but the key word is should. I've found stuff at the state level before that the counties didn't keep so it might be worth a shot although most of my family is from Georgia. However, Alabama supposedly has birth records since 1908 so my first thought would be to try that. Ayers, B.
