Olivia - Social Security DOES keep this information on file! I just applied for full Social Security benefits and ALL of this info - and more - was collected to approve my claim - my husband had to fill out a 'marriage certification and where, when, who, etc. in re: to our marriage were asked... She just didn't want to 'bother' to look it up! And they also asked about your parents and grandparents? That's what I was referring to. I draw Social Security, too, and was not asked anything except my marriage information and personal information.
