    2. I am still researching Waldrops in Lee and Russell Counties, Alabama. My line came from Amelia County, Va. down thru Georgia, lived in Harris County , Georgia. JOHN WALDROP, SR.--Born 1730- 1807. Amelia County, Va. Benjamin Waldrop, Born 1763, died 1820. around 1825 lived in Cowetta County, Georgia My gr gr grandpapa was Rev. Green Berry Waldrop- 1700-1850 Minister-Baptist Primitive Minister in Harris County, Georgia 1827-1840. My gr grandpapa was Dr. Joseph Ryan Waldrop 1826-1870 Physician, Minister, Sate Rep. of Washington County. My grandpapa was James Harry Waldrop 1869-1924 M&O Train Engineer Vinegar Bend, Alabama, Washington County. Papa was Harry Pou Waldrop 1906-1962, Southern Bell Telephone Company Born in Hiwanee, Mississippi, raised in Vinegar Bend, Alabama, came to Columbus, Georgia in 1926 with Southern Bell Telephone A T&T Company. Me. Sandra Waldrop Doolittle(Carlton H. Doolittle.of Phenix City, Alabama, nephew of Cloyd Tillery and grandson of John Tillery.) I am trying to see if there is a connection between my Waldrop Line and the Waldrops in Russell and Lee Counties, Alabama. According to Ruth Coulter, my dad Harry P. Waldrop was related to some of the Waldrops in Russell County in the 1940,50 and 60s. My mom and dad were customers in her parent's Florist. Ruth 's husband and my gr grandmothers were sisters. Does anyone in the Phenix City, Alabama area know what Waldrop Line they are in. Ours start out with JOHN WALDROP, SR.--Born 1730- 1807. Amelia County, Va.
