Hi List I am looking for Payton Letcher( may have went by P. L.) Parker. married Martha M.(last name unkown) Their first son Lycurgus G. was born in Georgia in 1844. The family moved to Hot Spring Arkansas and secon son John C. was born in 1848. According the 1850 census in Hot Spring Co. both Martha and Payton were born in Ga. Payton Letcher died in Alton Prison In Alton Il. in 1864. Martha and boys moved to Nevada Co. Arkansas. Lycurgus G. married Elizabeth Strickland, John C. married Delaney Scott. and Martha married William Brook. Need to find parents for Payton Letcher and Martha. Where they were married.
