    1. [GEORGIA] 1890 marriage, Fayette County
    2. Hi, At the library yesterday, I found (on Ancestry) a notation of a marriage between C. L. Burdett and Lula Hobgood, for Nov. 16, 1890, in Fayette County. I think this is the couple I was looking for, but it would be good to know (for sure) what the "C. L." stood for. There was a Clarence L. Burdett who died in Atlanta, at 13 Ft Hood Street, on September 29, 1907 (age of 37). The next day's obituary states that he was married (but no wife's name) and had two children (also unnamed). His burial was at Hollywood Cemetery. It would also be great to know the names of the two children! I had thought there was only one, just Earl. Oh, I think that 'Hobgood' was sometimes spelled Hopgood... Thanks for any ideas. Allen
