April 2 (Friday) Confederate Night - 7-9:30 PM; instructor Michael Bryson, President of the Society and Reenactor; Michael will discuss unpublished diaries and their use in connecting family history and also Reenactments; $5 each April 17(Saturday) Childrens Genealogy, ages 8-16; 9-11:30 AM- Instructors Jean Belew and Mildred Starkebaum; Mom and Dad can shop while the children learn how to hunt for ancestors $5 each April 23 (Friday) Black History Night- 7-9:30 PM; Jean Belew instructor; Slave Schedules for Ga. and other resources will be used; $5 each April 30 (Friday) Sitting with the Silent Ancestors; 7-9:30 PM; Jean Belew will explain how to locate illusive ancestors $5 each May 7( Friday) 1832 Gold and Regular Land Lottery Night; 7-9:30 PM- instructor Jean Belew will explain the difference and you can see if some of the winners were your families $5 each May 14 (Friday) Cherokee Indian Heritage Night; Learn more about Cherokee Heritage as taught by Jean Belew who has Cherokee heritage and grew up in Oklahoma with the Cherokee The fees will pay for supplies.
