It has been a while since I have posted my Crawley brick wall. I am looking for the father of Francis Marion Crawley, b abt 1837 in in the Orchard Hill area of what was then Pike County GA, now Lamar County. At age 3 he was in the home of James and Mahala Crawley. I believe James and Mahala were the grandparents and not the parents. James and Mahala were 60 and 52 at the time of his birth. Also, in the 1880 census, James & Mahala's daughter Sarah (never married) was in Francis Marion Crawley's home and is listed as "aunt". I am interested in a Henry Crawley who appeared in one Pike County tax digest in the 1820's near the other Crawley's but has been found in no other Pike County records.
