If anyone has the time to transcribe these pension records, it is always good to get them posted, so that the names will appear in the Search Engines. Some of these have been done already....so double check on the County sites to see if they have been done. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/gafiles.htm (Archives pages) http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Egagenweb/table.htm (County pages) you could use our "forms" to submit, if you'd like. http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ Sometimes those pension records provide information about Company leadership, battles, wounds, etc that are available other wise. I simply clicked on the "Visitor" item and accessed http://docuweb.gsu.edu/scripts/webmain.dll?Anonymous which is the "browse" portion. I then chose ... from the far left column ... the county of interest. You will note not all counties have been placed there and not all pension records for those counties have been provided. What a valuable asset this is for all researchers interested in these specific Confederate records!!! Thank you Georgia State University !! Charlotte Tucker
