There were eight Georgia land lotteries: 1805 1807 1820 1821 1827 1832 Land Lottery 1832 Gold Lottery 1833 Fractions Lottery The 1832 Land, 1832 Gold, and 1833 Fractions lotteries distributed the Cherokee land. Based on your description, I think you have "The Cherokee Land Lottery, Containing a Numerical List of the Names of the Fortunate Drawers in Said Lottery, With an Engraved Map of Each District" compiled by James F. Smith and published in 1838 by Harper & Brothers. This book has the list of land lots distributed in the 1832 Georgia Land Lottery in order by land lot, with the names of the fortunate drawers. In 1833, M. D. J. Slade published the prizes drawn in the 1832 Gold Lottery. I hope this helps. Paul K.
