Hi... I am looking for Lemuel Courson in the 1880 Ware Co, GA Census.....I am having problems with Ancestry.com...as in they cancelled our account for no apparent reason...but luckily...I am able to use HeritageQuest through my local library..but so far I am unable to find him in the 1880 census...so I am asking for help..... Lemuel was born Mar 1885....he married Rachel Bagley in Mar of 1874....she would be abt 31 yrs old....they might have a son named William Duncan, age abt 5 yrs old.... Appreciate any help...thank you..... Stephanie Grohol
Stephanie, Do you have him in the 1900 census? If so, where was he living? Also, your birth date must be a typo. You have him born in 1885 and married in 1874. What year was he born in? Maybe 1854? I have been looking in the 1800 census and have not found him, Rachel or William. Their last name might be spelled so badly, they are not turning up. I have seen that happen and only found one ancestor while looking for a family who happened to live near him. I was looking for Jeffries and Ancestry had the name transcribed as Giffnis.
