Margaret Dowdy,age, 23, listed as daughter-in-law in WM. and Nancy Dowdy household, Dooly Co.. in 1880. James Dowdy 24 in same household listed as single. Is this a mistake? If so when did Margaret Dowdy die and where is she buried? any help appreciated. Emma

Just for your information, they are not listed in the cemetery surveys in Watts and Nora Powell's books. Davine Campbell and I are trying to resurvey and update those cemeteries plus some that were never surveyed and we have not found them yet. The Dowdy's that are listed are buried in cemeteries (2) that are now located in Crisp County, Georgia.
