    3. Laverne, I half-way agree with you. Posting surnames without any first name or some data is as useful as my typing "Smith, Williams, Clark(e), Steel(e), Jones, Hawkins, Lane" etceteras. If you are going to post surnames, why not post the first names & some data as well for I bet a lot of people who are researching some of the same surnames are also hitting the delete button for they do not know which line of this surname you have. Sincerely, Lena SouthernGenes <southerngenes@wildblue.net> wrote: Mr/MS Roberts While I think you think you are helping by posting surnames but, it serves no purpose. Please if you are seeking info about someone post that. Otherwise a link to your research will suffice, those that are interested can go take a peek. 3. Hello, I'm interested in Douglas and Dupree (also Dykes, but it isn't on your list). My ancestor, Wright Douglas went through GA and on down to FL, leaving his daughter, Elizabeth, in Colquitt County married to Eli Robert Clark. My Dupree line went from Jefferson to Talbot to Sumter Counties and was connected with Smith and Cook. Thanks for any insights. : ) Mitzi Clark Bateman Didn't get to list the D's yesterday because I spent the day answering the queries from the A B &C's. Here are the D"s Dampier, Daniels, Darsey, Davis, Dawson, Delk, DeLoach, Dent, Denton, DeVane, Dotson, Douglas, Douglass, Dowling, Downing, Drake, Driggers, Dryden, Duce, Dukes, Duncan, Dupree, Durrance, & Dyess.
