    3. Am trying to tie down Pleasant Thompson Henderson. Found a reference in an Athens, GA newspaper abstract to some land he had so I ordered the index for Grantees (the one disposing of the land). Didn't find Pleasant but found a few others that will probably tie into him. This is only an index of the Hendersons in the area at the same time Pleasant was there. William Henderson to William Henderson, document was an agreement dated 10-11-1824, Bk. A, pg. 476, subject was slaves William Henderson to Hiram Hulsey, deed dated 1-17-1832, Bk. C, pg. 557, 150 acres on Oconee. Nathaniel Henderson to John P. Brooks, deed dated 4-28-1830, Bk. C, pg. 175, 1/2 L, 98, 8 Dist. Robert Henderson to John Lay, deed dated 11-8-1831, Bk. 1. Pensions
    2. Virginia Crilley
    3. If anyone has the time to transcribe these pension records, it is always good to get them posted, so that the names will appear in the Search Engines. Some of these have been done already....so double check on the County sites to see if they have been done. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/gafiles.htm (Archives pages) http://www.rootsweb.com/%7Egagenweb/table.htm (County pages) you could use our "forms" to submit, if you'd like. http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ Sometimes those pension records provide information about Company leadership, battles, wounds, etc that are available other wise.
