    1. Re: [GEORGIA] Att. Jimmy Payne-Payne Family
    2. Don Bankston
    3. This is just a long shot but I never miss an opportunity to check, just should there be a clue someplace. I have a John Payne who had son William Payne(1788-1827) that died in Butts County. Georgia. William Payne married Olive Bankston (daughter of Abner Bankston of Butts County, Georgia) Any mention or know of these Paynes. Sorry but this is all I have on the family, other than the children of William and Olive. 3. Hi, Emma. Georgia's federal census records show that Eliga and Nancy were in Dooly County in 1900, married for 17 years, with seven living children. In the 1910 census, they were living in Wilcox County, and by 1920, in Coffee County. Sorry I can't find anything for you on that. Good luck! Linda in Marietta PS - Don't forget - if you need them, you can get census lookups for free on the GA-Census-Lookup list.
