JOHN HINTON-(b.JOCO, NC-circa-1790-1843)*; We are looking for any Intel on HINTON & associated families- Hi's family- migrated from the "JOCO/ WAKE, NC areas"- (after-1790)- to GEORGIA! The above REV. JOHN HINTON was our gggrandfather, we know very little of the family in GEORGIA, except that- (1)- Most sources agree that he was a-- "grandson of"-- *COL. JOHN & GRIZZELLA (KIMBROUGH) -HINTON*---, but what is NOT known is by which son!!! (2)- He married a *ESTER (MONTGOMERY)-HINTON-(b.GA-circa-1797-1870)*, the extended families migrated west, and were in the "TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA" areas-(by-1820)!!!! (3)- We have seen at least three{3}- HINTON FAMILIES, who were in the "WILKES/ FRANKLIN, GEORGIA" areas-(before-1800), but Intel is inconclusive, and incomplete!!! Can you help an old warhorse out??? I found words that I didn't know that i knew and found out on others i was overconfindent and got them wrong. But it was good to do while i was taking a break. Now I have to go beat my cat (yea sure) they are eating my chocolate mint and lucky bamboo again. and they have their own grass. First shows up-[about-mid 1820's] as a Lawyer in the "Newly formed-HENRY COUNTY, GA"! Later he is an- "INFERIOR COURT JUDGE"- in HENRY COUNTY, and again after he migrates to the newly formed "CAMPBELL COUNTY, GA"! We saw some "CAMPBELL COUNTY, GA" Post about him becoming a member of the "GEORGIA LEGESLATURE"- in the mid/ late 1830's??? Where would a southern boy go to become a LAWYER in-(1800< >)??
