My great grandmother Lillian Gertrude GEORGE b 1894 in Danville, Rockingham, NH and her brother Erving Erastus GEORGE were placed in an orphanage when there mother ran away with another man. Does anyone know how to find orphanage records? Their father, Albert Monroe GEORGE b 1852 died at a poor farm in 1897. Also, I'm related to Nicholas GEORGE b 1635 of Haverhill, Essex, MA.
