Diane & Elaine, I'm descended from Philip George from Northampton/Lehigh Co., PA. He was born around 1757. He m. Margaretha Meyer, dau. of Michael Meyer and Barbara Ritter. Margaretha had a sister who m. Christoph George. He was referred to at one place, as Stophel. I know nothing of his life or family, and don't really know if he was related to our Philip, but he was still living in 1818 when his father-in-law wrote his will. I know I found him in a census, but don't know which one, but it wasn't any later than 1820, I believe. I have known of other Christophs that were also known as Christophers and Christians.
