Hello List: My husband is a descendant of Wm. George, I who probably came from Wale and was born before 1750 and died 1811 Franklin Co., IN. He had two sons: William George, II and Benjamin. Can anyone add any information to Wm George, I - was he from Wales, name of wife, parents. Was there another son -Matthew George who died befor Feb. 18, 1830 , Will and Probate Pg. 51, BK B, Franklin Co., IN and his wife's name was Elizabeth. Children: William, Matthew bo 1807 VA married America Small, Wesley, Mariah b abt 1811 VA, Sarah b about 1810 and married Benj. Rucker, Franklin Co., IN, Ruth, Nancy, and Polly. A note from probate indicates that Matthews' children had removed to Union Co., TN. and also James King George an heir and states that William (Matthew' son could not be found). Is this a brother to William George, II and Benjamin George known children of Wm. George, I? Is anyone researching Wm. George, II and found Mary Bowlins' parents? Is anyone researching Wm. George, III and learned anything about Sarah Fitzpatrick and her family. I have a little but not much.
