I'm new to this list and wanted to make my GEORGE's known. My gg-grandfather was Hamilton W. GEORGE, born Nov 19, 1836 and died July 25, 1917 in Carroll County, Ohio. He's buried in the Scroggsfield Presbyterian cemetery. His death certificate lists Robert GEORGE as his father and "Not Known" as his mother. Hamilton married Agnes CONLEY of Carroll County on Dec 27, 1859. They had six children: Anna Belle (my g-grandmother), William, Roy, Allie, Elizabeth, and Paxton. I suspect Hamilton may be descended from George's who lived in Washington County, PA. but not sure yet. If anyone has any leads for me, please let me know
