He was married to Sallie WHO???. He was a lawyer, farmer, and served in the General Assembly during the Civil War. About 1840, he and his father built a beautiful brick home of three part Palladian architecture in Witten Valley. It is on the Virginia Landmarks register and belongs to the Harold family today. Hervy George is most likely related to the George family of Washington county, VA whose Family Cemetery is adjacent to the Roberts family cemetery at Broadford (near Glade Springs),VIRGINIA. 2.
