I am researching Solomon George. He was born1757,died Oct.30,1830,in Knoxville,Tenn.Married Peggy Crawford in 1803. Children:Samuel C.S. George, Andrew L.W. George, Wiley B.B. George(my ancestor),&Pleasant M.G. George.Solomon George lived in Montgomert Co.&BotetourtCounties,Va.prior to mving to Tenn. ca.1795.W.B.B George& wife,Hannah Alldridge moved to Polk Co. Mo. in 1838.I am trying to find Solomon`s father. I believe he descendsfrom the line of Nicholas George who settled in Lancaster Co. Va. in 1651.I dont know if Solomon`s father was from Orange Co. Va. or if connected with Rochingham Co.,Va.My line is said to be distantly related to George`s of Caroline Co. Va.Any help would really be appreciated. Greg George.
