    3. My wife is a Georgewith descendent from Newbury, Orange County, VT. I do her genealogy. I've researched The History of Newbury, VT, 1704-1902, by Wells, published by The Caldonian Co., St Johnsbury VT, 1902. There was no Philinda George or father, Moses listed. I do know however, that there were two George families one from Bradford and then my wife's. Her original George, John, 1675, came from England and his descendents through MA, NH and settled in Topsham VT circa 1800, with 15 children, had two more. Goodness knows, yours could be part of either group. Sorry and good luck.
