I am still searching for the elusive Jessie GEORGE and wife Martha D. Swinel. In the 1850 census they were living in Macon Co, TN. Jessie was age 22, so born about 1828, census says b. in NC. They had a son Joseph, (a.k.a. Joseph Franklin "Frank" George). For some reason I can't find them in the 1860 census. Their son "Frank" moved to Indiana. Frank sometimes says in the census records that his dad was born in NC, other times says GA. Don't really have much more information, looking for clues at this point! Susan Clark
