Jane George married Thomas Carroll and lived in old Augusta Co, VA. Her father was probably Thomas George, probably born 1695-1700. If Jane was William Carroll's second wife, her father Thomas George may have been born a little later. William and Jane Carroll lived in old Augusta County on what later became the current Rockingham-Shenandoah Co. line William CARROLL [abt 1721 - 1771] moved from Frederick Co,MD to Augusta Co where he was a constable in 1742. His other wife's name was Mary. I suspect Mary was the first wife. I am seeking information on the George connections. Juhling McClung
