When did Lewis George remarry? I have two George familesin Decatur CO, GA (That is the most SW County in the state) between 1840-1890. They are probably brothers and both were born in NC in early 1800's. Both had large families and raised several grandchildren. Neither Lewis nor Britton seems to be a popular name in the family. There was also another family of Georges in Lee County, GA. They had all girls on the 1850 census. Good luck!
