Frances Marion George 2. Ella George Henry joined the Confederate army during the American Civil War and was killed in battle. 11. FRANCIS (FRANK) MARION GEORGE b. 13 May, 1860 Harrison Co. Iowa d. 28 Jan. 1941 Boise, Idaho p. Henry George and Sarah Ann Dermond m1. Mary Catherine Ross 8 Aug. 1879 b- 24 Feb. 1863 d- 4 Aug. 1915. Her parents- William Ellis Ross and Mary Margaret Ashcraft. + 1. Jessie May George + 2. Clara Ann George + 3. Ida Pearl George + 4. William Henry George + 5. Eva Margaret George + 6. Betty Manila George + 7. Alfreida George m2. Delia Moss 17 April, 1917 Frances moved his family to the vicinity of Boise, Idaho in 1907. In later years he was a member of the Quaker church. Francis was killed in an automobile accident. I am decended through Francis' daughter Jessie May George who married Romanta Iryl Nelson.
