Joseph-- I have a ggrandmother, Sarah O'Brien, for whom I need information. Sarah was born in Canada(maybe, this is listed on her death certificate)_to John O'Brien(lots of luck with this one). I found 28 in a little province in Canada. She was born 18 November 1870. I believe she lived in WI for awhile, as my grandmother said that she had relatives here. She was married about 1886, maybe Wi maybe IA. She married Frederick or Joseph Altenbach(hard time finding him). They moved to Des Moines because her first child, Hugh Edward, was born there(wedding record) and then they went to TX. They had a son, John about 1888 and my grandmother, Loretta Christina, 1890. There are several different stories as to how Fred died, but I shan't go into that at this point. Suffice it to say that after his death, Sarah packed up and went to Milwaukee. She married Fisher, SR in November 1894 and Fischer, JR in 1895(marriage records in the court house). The Altenbach children were married in the St Francis Church there.
