Regarding the possibility of taking microfilm or microfiche (that you have borrowed) home to read on your own reader: I believe all Family History Centers enforce their rule that you must do your research on site. The normal rule for Interlibrary Loan is that you must not remove the microfilm or microfiche from the library which obtained it for you. This may not always be enforced by the borrowing library, but it certainly is what is expected by most, if not all, libraries which lend film via Interlibrary Loan. Borrowing film "on your own" is a different matter. For example, I think you can borrow film directly from AGLL/Heritage Quest, without going through a library. I have never done this myself--can any list member confirm (or deny) this possibility? Rollie
