Hello Listers- I am trying to find out some information on my Steinke line. I have a Fred (Frederick) William Steinke who was born July 13, 1879 and died March 24, 1949. In 1930 and 1934 it lists Fred as living in Barnesville, Minnesota in his mother's newspaper obit in 1930 and in his father's newspaper obit in 1934. The problem that I am running into is that I can not find anything for him in any of the cemeteries around that area. I am also looking in to Fargo, North Dakota. Fred married a woman by the name of Mary ???? I have no maiden name, nor birth or death date for Mary. Fred and Mary had at least two children that I know of. They had a Leonard Carl Steinke and a Eva Louise Steinke. I have no birth dates or death dates on either of them. I also have no idea who Eva Louise Steinke may have married. None of the family members seem to know anything about them at all. Leonard Carl Steinke had a son whose name was Carl Steinke......I have no idea what his middle name may be. Also no birth or death date. He may also still be alive. Fred had twelve brothers and sisters, with Fred being the oldest. They are Fred, Adolph, Gustav, Henrich, Alfred, Amelia, Mary, Louis, Martha, Minnie, Alma, Arthur & Helena. Fred's brother Adolph lived in Wisconsin, so this is why I am wondering if after 1934 he moved to Wisconsin. It is a long shot, but at this point anything is worth a try. If any one can help me out with this line of Steinke's I would be more than appreciative. Thanks from the heart. Suzanne
