I thought I would add my experience with one other couple just to show how far one should search. I found an ancestor on the marriage list but the date was two days earlier than I expected and I could not find his wife. I did find her, name misspelled and on the correct date. I have from the family bible George H Rapley marrying Luella Jane Richardson 25 November 1884 in Cameron Wisconsin. When doing the search I could not find Luella under any variation of Richardson, using date, name or initial until some how I looked only at the month and year and came up with the following. So leave no stone unturned.
