I am searching for any information on my gggrandfather, James Wells of NY and WI. He married Marinda Clark in NY about 1853. They had Chauncey M. and Lillie in NY and James in Fond du Lac WI. I found them in the 1860 census for WI. Chauncey was 7, and Lillie was 3. James was 6 mo. the parents were 26 and 23. It was said that he had real estate valued at $1000. I was not able to find the elder James and Marinda again. I found Chauncey in the 1880 census of Walworth County and James in the 1898 directory of Berlin Green Lake County. He and Milford(Chauncey had started using his middle name) were in business together. I would so like to find James and Marinda. Can anyone help? I would be most grateful for any assistance.
