Robin Here goes-- Pg. 594 Otto BAEHMAN, interior decorator at Merrill, was born at MErrill on Jan 5, 1878, son of Henry and Caroline (Nienow) Baehman. Parents are German natives, the father born Dec 1, 1849, the mother Aug 19, 1853. Married at Wausau, first lived village of Jenny, now city of Merrill. The father a blacksmith, died, Merrill 1916, and the mother died, Merrill 1881. They had five children: Martha, Deceased; Edward, Merrill; Otto, Merrill; Laura (Mrs. Gust Struck, Reedsville); Henry, deceased; half-sister, Clara (Mrs. Edwin Zeidler, Aberdeen , SD). Otto educated at MErrill, at age 14, an accident left him without his right hand. Married on June 29, 1910 to Ida A. Wendler, daughter of John and Louise (Huebner) Wendler of Milwaukee. They have six children: Adella (Mrs. h. A. Wegner, Milwaukee) Ida A. (Mrs. Baehman), Louisa (Mrs. Charles Wesoleck, Milwaukee); Marie (Mrs. Arthur Gennrotzke, Milwaukee); Emma (Mrs. Joseph Falge, Milwaukee); KArl died in infancy. Pg. 278 William FISCHER, store manager, Starks, Oneida Co., WI, was born at Aniwa, WI Jan 3, 1894. Educated in Antigo Schools, WWI veteran, Postmaster in Antigo Jan 1, 1923. Married Sept 17, 1921 to Mrs. Beda Olson (Maiden name Bergman) Her former marriage to A. Olson provided two children, MArcella and Hartwig. Pg. 465 William H. FISCHER, pioneer shoemaker, Minocqua, was born Lansing MIchigan Feb 14, 1866, son of Guyer T and Sarah (Fairbanks) Fisaher. Mother native of Yorkshire, England, the father native of NY State. Married in Michiga. Father retired in 1923, and the mother passed away in 1893. They had four children: William H., Beatrice, Anna, Andrew C. All at Battle Creek, Michigan. William H. to Rhinelander in 1887, to Minocqua in 1889. He was married Sept 24, 1889 in Minocqua to Mary Gosman, daughter of Nick and Mary (Gaglar) Gosman. They had six children: Guyer T. (navy man in WWI, now attorney in Chicago), Maude (Mrs. William Clothier, Detroit) Walter S. (WWI vet, and now attorney in Green BAy); William H. Jr., attending Univ of Wis, MAdison; Enos, and Mary (Mrs. Fred E. Roberts, San Bernidino, CA) They are members of the Catholic Church. Pg. 465 Enos E. FISCHER, publisher and owner of Minocqua Times, born in Minocqua Aug 4, 1897, son of William H. and MAry (Gosman) Fischer. Educated at Minocqua, WWI vet. Affiliated with the Masons and Odd Fellows fraternally. Pg 676 Leonard OTTO, proprietor of Ottoright Garage and Machine Works, Tomahawk, was born on farm near Appleton, OCt 6, 1874, son of John F. and Bertha (Simic) Otto. Father native of Germany, came to US in 1848, enlisted in Co. B 22nd Illinois Infantry (Civil War). After discharge he settled in Outagamie Co. He died in 1912, the mother is still living. They had eight children: Emma, Louise and Leonard Twins, Anthony, Edward, John F., Ida and William. Leonard educated in district school came to Tomahawk on 1893, helping to install paper machines at Pride Mill. Started his garage business in 1923. He married in 1903 in Waukesha Co., WI to Alice Gumm, daughte of Mr & Mrs William Gumm.
