Hello, I have just joined these Lists to ask if anyone knows anything about a .. Silas Dean LEWIS (Jr.), who was born in Massachusetts in June 1923. "Dean" was my father's only brother, and around 1948, he abandoned his wife and baby and "left the state." No one ever heard from him again. Their younger step-brother believes that "Dean" ..ran away.. to the area around the Great Lakes, but it was just a hunch. Two years ago, because of the SSDI records, I found out that he died while living in or visiting .. Phoenix, AZ, in 1996. This means that we don't know how and where my uncle lived .. for almost 50 years. I was just wondering if anyone has ever come across this name. Thank you for your time.
