Hello: I am the great grand daughter of Earl Bailey who I understand was adopted by the Bailey family. Lived in Elroy Wisconsin. I know his birth name was Wyman and that there was Gerrity or Garrity relatives in his line of heritage. I have not done a great deal of work on him as I have been trying to unravel my grandmothers past. She was the adopted daughter of Earl and Bridgett Bailey. Her birth name was Anna Kumferman birth daughter of Louis and Mary Kumferman. In 1909 she and her four siblings were surrendered to the Sparta Childrens Home due to her parents divorce. Louis went on to marry two more times, producing another family by his third wife. As for Mary, there seems to be no trace of her. All I know is that she lived in Cobbin Wis. Have never found any death info or otherwise. Anna was adopted by Earl and Bridgett. Having quite a time with her past as so many records do not exist or are lost. If you notice a connection of our Garrity lineage and your family I would love to know more. Thank you for your time.
