Janice, I don't have a library card and I use the site all the time. I think you need a card for the books on line and a few features, but the access to the newspaper index does not require a card. Susan in Northern CA

Susan, If we start here http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/ do we then click on the link entitled "Databases: Literature, Magazine, Newspaper, Business Investment, Health & Other"? If we click on that link, the site then asks us for our library card number. Since you said no library card is needed, could you point out what link you are clicking on the main page at http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/ Thanks in advance, Shari
